Mindful Eating Practice
Saturday, May 2, 2020 — 12:45 PM to 1:15 PM

Mindful Eating is an opportunity to come together as a community and apply the basic foundations of mindfulness to an activity we do everyday. Our mindful eating session will begin with a few minutes of introduction and guidance, followed by a chance to eat our food in silence within the supportive environment of our collective online presence. When we eat like this we have the opportunity to nourish our body and mind with our kind and curious attention. This may be a very different experience from how we often eat, which can involve chewing on our worries, fears, or projects. We look forward to spending this time together.

The Mindful Eating will start 15 minutes after the conference breaks for lunch to give you time to collect your food and return to the online space. There will be 15 minutes after Mindful Eating ends before the start of the afternoon sessions.
